Screening of the the feature film „Strahinja Banović“ (As Far As I Can Walk), directed by Stefan Arsenijević and written by Stefan Arsenijević, Bojan Vuletić and Nikola Dikre was held on Monday, March 14, at 8.30 pm at the Imagix film Center. The film is in the competition for the main prize of the 37th International Film Festival in Mons.

The film was created in collaboration with production companies from Serbia, Luxembourg, France, Lithuania and Bulgaria and is supported by the Film Centers of five countries, the Council of Europe Fund - Eurimages, Creative Europe - MEDIA and the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

The Mons Film Festival has been researching the theme of "love" through an international program since 1984. Following the form of the Serbian folk song, "Strahinja Banović" tells a touching story about two refugees, whose life circumstances brought them to Serbia, where their love will be tested.

Director Stefan Arsenijević and actor of the main male role Ibrahim Koma were guests of the Festival, who had engage with the audience and media representatives after the screening.

The screening of the film was attended by the president of the festival Jean-Paul Deplus, representatives of Novi Sad 2022 - European Capital of Culture and representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Belgium.
