Political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Belgium were held on 25th of February in Brussels.

It was stated that the bilateral relations between Serbia and Belgium are good and both sides concluded that there are additional opportunities for improving cooperation in the fields of economy, investments, culture, education and tourism.

Satisfaction was expressed with the level of political dialogue, and it was especially pointed out that last year's visit of Minister Selaković to Belgium, when the two countries marked 135 years of establishing diplomatic relations.

Belgium support to Serbia in the process of European integration is valuable and the expectation that such support will continue was expressed.

The importance of regular political consultations between two Ministries of Foreign Affairs was emphasized and agreed that they would contribute to further development of the political dialogue and exchange of opinions on all issues of common interest.

The Serbian delegation was led by Assistant Minister for Bilateral Cooperation Vladimir Maric, and the Belgian delegation was led by Director General for Bilateral Cooperation Jeroen Koreman.
