Ambassador dr Marina Jovićević met on November 25 with the Director General for Multilateral Affairs at FPS Foreign Affairs of Belgium, Mr. Axel Kenes. Mutual satisfaction was expressed with the development of bilateral relations, but it was assessed that there is a room for further strengthening of cooperation as well as for intensification of the meetings at the political level.

Director General Kenes thanked Ambassador Jovićević for the good personal cooperation in the previous four years of her mandate. Ambassador Jovićević expressed the gratitude as well. She also expressed the expectation that negotiations with the EU will continue until the end of this year with the opening of the cluster and that Belgium will provide support to Serbia's European integration. She thanked Belgium for providing training for civil servants engaged in the European integration process.
