Ambassador Marina Jovićević was received on November 16th to the farewell meeting with the foreign policy advisor to the Prime Minister of Luxembourg Mr. Patrick Hemmer. Mutual satisfaction was expressed with the development of bilateral cooperation in the previous four years, during the mandate of Ambassador Jovićević. It was concluded that there was a significant improvement in bilateral relations between Serbia and Luxembourg that resulted also in a several visits at the level of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and introduction of a direct flight of Luxair to Belgrade.

The expectation was expressed that the negotiations with the EU will be continued by the end of this year, and the support of Luxembourg for the European integration of Serbia was underlined.

Advisor Patrick Hemmer thanked Ambassador Jovićević for her active approach to work related to Luxembourg, which is covered on a non-resident basis that gave them opportunity to be informed about developments in Serbia in a timely manner, which resulted also in an improved bilateral cooperation.
