In organization of the Balkan Trafic Festival and with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Brussels, on the open stage in the Royal Park in Brussels, on 28th of June, the Serbian night was organized.

At this event, the first in the series of representation of countries from our region, the Cultural-Art Society Izvor from Paris, which, after a short workshop, performed a full-length concert consisting of a series of dances and songs from all over Serbia. After the concert, the documentary film "Promise" by Dušan Gajić and director Željko Mirković was shown. This film already won 9 international documentary awards at the festivals in Serbia, France, USA and Italy. A Promise is a film about the unusual venture of a French family who settled in the village of Roglje near Negotin in order to produce organic wine for the international market together with locals.

Visitors had the opportunity to see part of the exhibition "Ivo Andric - writer and diplomat" which follows the life and work life of Ivo Andic as diplomats, organized by the City Museum of Belgrade, with the help of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia. The author of the exhibition is Mrs. Tatjana Koricanac, Director of the Museum of the City of Belgrade and curator of the Museum of Ivo Andric. Also, on the Serbian evening, materials related to the "Study in Serbia" program, as well as the presentation of Novi Sad, the European capital city of youth in 2019 and the European Capital of Culture in 2021, were distributed.

Vesna Lalic, Head of the Consular Section in the Embassy, addressed the attendees and besides general information about Serbia, she pointed out the significance of the platform Serbia creates, under which logo Serbia was presented at this event and the "Study in Serbia" program, realized in cooperation of  Ministry of Education and Tempus Foundation.
