Bilateral political consultations between the Ministries of foreign affairs of Serbia and Belgium took place in Brussels on October 18th, 2018. The consultations were held at the level of political directors. Serbian delegation was led by the political director, Ambassador Zoran Vujic, and the Belgian delegation by political director and general director for multilateral issues, ambassador Axel Kenes. During the consultations, a number of topics were considered, such as: multilateral issues, priorities of both countries within the SCUN, since Belgium was elected as non-permanent member in the period 2019-2020, security and global issues, the process of European integration of the Republic of Serbia, bilateral relations, including economic cooperation, the possibility of cooperation in third countries, regional cooperation, as well as other issues of common interest.
