On Saturday, 2nd June 2018, the decision on abolishing visas for citizens of the Republic of Burundi, holders of all passports, came into force, according to which they may enter, transit and stay on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, no longer than 30 days within a period of one year from the date of entry into the Republic of Serbia.

Citizens of this country, holders of all passports who wish to enter and stay in the territory of the Republic of Serbia for a period longer than 30 days, or to study, live, work, engage in media activity or other activities, are obliged to submit a request for a visa before entering the territory of the Republic of Serbia. If they wish to enter R. Serbia and have already stayed for 30 days without a visa, from the date of their entry into R. Serbia for a period of one year, in accordance with the Government Decision, they should apply for a visa for the next entry into R. Serbia.

The decision was made at the session of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, held on 24th May 2018.
