At the University Library in Ghent, Ambassador Marina Jovicevic opened the exhibition "Ivo Andric – a writer and/or a diplomat", prepared by the City Museum of Belgrade, and the assistance of the Ministry of Culture and Information of Serbia. The exhibition was organized in cooperation with the Liaison Office of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia in Brussels and the Circolo di Brussels Associazione Guiliani nel Mondo.

Assistance in the realization of the exhibition was provided by the Department of Slavic Studies at the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy at the University of Ghent, and the Group for the Serbian Language and its professor Ms. Slobodanka Moravcevic. The exhibition was presented at the University Library in Ghent, in the Section of European literature, to which Ivo Andrić belongs. In addition to the 20 panels, in which the life and work of Ivo Andrić as a diplomat and a writer is presented, the library also presented the books of our Nobel Prize laureate that are in the fundus of University library.

In addition to the number of students studying at the Serbian Language Group, the opening of the exhibition was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy in Gent, Mr. Mark Boone, as well as representatives of the Rectorate, International Department and the Department of Slavic Studies.

After the opening of the exhibition, a cocktail was organized, where the Serbian pies, wines and brandy were served.
