On Sunday, 24 April 2016, at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Brussels, extraordinary parliamentary elections were held.

Of the registered 188 Serbian citizens in the voting list, permanently or temporarily residing in Belgium and Luxembourg, 163 voted, which represents 86.70% of the total number of registered citizens.
