The Organ in charge of the threat assessment (OCAD / OCAM) maintains a threat level 3 throughout the country. The threat is still considered serious, possible and probable. Increased vigilance in the major train stations, national and regional airports, public transportation across the country, in particular the Brussels subway, nuclear and radiologic sites.

Increased presence of police and soldiers in strategic locations,with high concentrations of people, for the whole country.

Passengers are advised to come 3 hours before the flight, and the first control is carried out before entering the airport building regarding the flight tickets and ID.

Tourist sites, shops, hotels, restaurants, are under supervision. Shows and concerts are scheduled to be maintained and halls open, subject to a decision of the organizers, who have announced increased security measures. The operators and organizers of the event are responsible for the organization and the security of the event. The events organized on public property are evaluated case by case.

Conferences, exhibitions, are held amid tight security.

Belgian border rules apply in the same way as before the terrorist attacks, but additional checks may take place at entry points of the territory.
