28.October this year, in Belgium was being held Central Commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the First World War.

The first one was being held in Nieuwport, focused to the Belgium`sYser front, the flooding of the Yser plain and the role of the Belgian king at the time , King Albert I.

The second, in Ypres, remembers the role of Allie`s defence efforts for the town of Ypres and the many who died there. The Ceremony was attended by the Belgium royal family and representatives of 83 invited countries.
