The President of the Republic of Serbia H.E. Mr. Tomislav Nikolic attended the central memorial ceremony in Liege on August 4, with dozens of heads of state and government gathered at the invitation of the King of Belgium, to commemorate the first day of the First World War on the Western Front.

After the ceremony, the President of Serbia laid wreaths at the monument to the Belgian King Albert and the graves of the fallen Serbian heroes on the Allied cemetery Robermont.
