Study visit of the representatives of the Serbian ports to Belgian ports of Antwerp, Beverdonk and Liege took place from Monday 23rd of June to Thursday 26th of June. The visit was organised by the Embassy, Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, APEC Training Center of the Port of Antwerp, Port of Liege and AWEX.

The purpose of the visit was transfer of positive experience of the Belgian port sector to Serbia as well as establishing of closer institutional cooperation that will make possible better connections and faster development of the Serbian ports.

Moreover, Embassy and the Mission of Serbia to the EU organised a pannel discussion “Sustainable navigation in the context of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR)”. This pannel discussion presented one of the activities within the Danube Week in Brussels. Apart from the members of the delegation of Serbian ports other participants at the event came from various institutions such as: the European Commission, representatives of European regions, diplomatic core, bilateral contacts from Belgium etc.
