Mаnneken Pis, one of the symbols of Brussels, was for the 4th time in a row dressed in the Serbian national costume from the region of Šumadija. The organisers of the event were, like previous years since 2011, Embassy of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Belgium, Department for Culture of the City of Brussels and Order of Friends of the Manneken Pis.

The Serbian National Costume for Manneken Pis, that is part of the collection of the Museum of the City of Brussels, was produced by the Studio „Kiri“ from Belgrade. First dressing of Manneken Pis in the Serbian national costume was organised simultaneously with the Brussels Tourism Fair (Salon des Vacances/Vakantiesalon) 2011 to which Serbia was the partner country.

This year event was attended by numerous locals, tourists, representatives of the Serbian community in Belgium including Serbian students studying at Belgian universities, representatives of the Embassies of the Western Balkans region countries and media.
